TP Mini Album

Summer holidays are nearly over and next week it will be back to routine ugh - I hate the thought of it! My crafting will have to take a back seat! At the moment we are doing a makeover outside our house, changing our driveway, re-setting our lawn, tearing out all the hedges that died during last winter and generally making a mess. I'm sure it will be better when its finished but at the moment, its doing my head in. I am also victim of a cold which is making me very cranky so the family are avoiding me like the plague!

Here are some pictures of a TP mini album which I made with Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden paper. Sorry the pictures aren't of great quality but with the lighting I just couldnt seem to get them right. The TP minis are great because they are so quick and easy to put together.

Have a good weekend.

Paper Bag Mini

I know that I ain't the most computer savvy person around but when I try to upload photos and text to my blog, it seems to take me forever. I get my photos all mixed up and end up with huge areas of blank space. Help.

Here are my photos of the paper bag album which I made following Kathyortas You Tube tutorial. I reckon it would hold about 100 photos of varying sizes and it had loads of different page constructions.

Its a big one!!

Thats it for now - hope you are inspired to try this one. It is a series on You Tube.

Have a good week.

Busy Crafting

Hello ladies, hope all is well with you. Autumn is really making its presence felt, the evenings are getting dark and its much cooler, so it lends itself to doing a bit of crafting. I just finished a mini with Graphic 45s Domestic Goddess papers which I have for ages but couldn't bear to cut into them (I know I'm sad). I made my own version of the G45 kraft envelopes for this mini and am quite happy with the result. Here are some pics. (Sorry I got carried away with the photos)

Thats it for this post. I have pictures of my paper bag mini designed by Kathyorta but I will put those up separately or otherwise trying to upload them to blogger in the correct order will totally frustrate me.

Bye. Ann.

Im still here

I am sorry for being such a lazy blogger. Its hard to believe tomorrow is 1 August this year is just flying by. I have been busy crafting over the last few months but finding the time to share my work is almost impossible.

I have become a huge fan of Kathyorta (you tube name). What she does with paper is absolutely amazing. Her mini albums have so much interaction, there is tons of space for photos and for journalling and boy, does she use up paper. She is helping me to get through some of my stash but apart from a very large bonfire, I don't think I will ever reach the end of it because I continue to add to it. I will share some of her projects that I have done later.

This is a mini album that I made for my husbands niece who celebrated her 18th birthday in April.

I used 6 X 9 envelopes and lots of girly papers which I dont normally use. It was fun to do and she loved it which was good.

It was also one of the first mini albums that I filled with photos as I went along. I was very happy with it.

This is another mini I made using the Graphic 45 Curtain Call papers which I fell totally in love with. I particularly like the fact that the tag on the front advertising hot chocolate included my husbands name. What a coincidence.

I will be back later in the week with some more projects. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

January Scrapzville Swap

Our January Scrapzville Swap was a mini to include five goals for 2011. This was fun, I used the Graphic 45 Once Upon a Springtime paper collection which I loved. My swap partner was Felicia and here are some photos of the mini.

Crafting on Saturday

Hi Ladies,

So much for the resolution I made to myself to become a better blogger! That didn't last long. That is one of the main reasons I don't do new year resolutions. My crafting mojo went missing for awhile but we had our monthly scrapbooking workshop at Crafty Alley today and thanks to Ebony's lovely inspirational 12 x12 layouts, I think it might be returning. Here are my two layouts that I made using the gorgeous My Minds Eye Lost and Found papers.

And this is a thank you card that I made tonight.

Thanks for visiting. Have a good weekend.

Twelve Tags of Christmas

I followed Tim Holtz's wonderful 12 tags of Christmas but unfortunately I didn't get to finishing them until yesterday. The techniques he uses are amazing. For some of the tags I came reasonably close to the original but for others I didn't have the necessary materials and so I had to improvise. I was pleased with the finished products though what to do with them now....
